Rajya Sabha MP Eranna Kadadi announced that the Ministry of Railways has finally granted the long-standing request of Belagavi district train passengers by extending the Dharwad-Mysuru Express train to Belagavi.
This exciting development was shared in a press statement on Thursday. According to MP Eranna Kadadi, the newly extended train, numbered 17302, will depart from Belagavi at 07.45 pm and arrive in Mysuru at 07.10 am the following day. Conversely, train number 17301 will leave Mysuru at 10.30 pm and reach Belagavi at 10.45 am the next morning.
The Belagavi-Mysore Express train is expected to commence operations in the last week of this month. MP Eranna Kadadi expressed his gratitude to Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav and the Railway Department officials for granting permission to initiate the Belagavi-Mysore Express train in response to his request.
Train from Bangalore to hubballi special is required to be extended till Belgaum,so good revenue will be for railways,
Mainly passenger trains ply between dharwad and belgaum looking to the situation at the level crossings at belgaum. Question of good revenue is impossible on passenger trains.
Long standing demand fulfilled, Thanks.
But arrival at Belagavi is too late.
Why there is no resumption of train from Dandeli (Ambewadi) to Dharwad /Hubbali earlier which was running daily, after COVID it is stopped.
It should be started at 8.0 in the .morning so that trains from Mysore & Bangalore and from Gadag side gets connected and vice versa from Dandeli to Dharwad/Hubbali.
It is good decision from the passengers point of view. Many times I used wait at Hubballi st. for Haripriya to reach Belagaum.
Too good. Service otherwise we should go to dharwad from belagavi and catching train to mysuru.. while returning got down at dharwad and catching bus from dhawad busstand to reach belgavi. Now this will enhance good service.great minister sir. 🤩
