The Dharwad bench of the Karnataka High court in its order of 12th December has asked the city corporation to released the petrol bunk and the area sealed by the Corporation commissioner Ravikumar, recently.
The Corporation had sealed the piece of land as its lease was over but the owners Doddannavar and Savadatti appealed against this action in the high court and court has given orders that the Corporation give back the possession of the piece of land to the petitioners.
Even tough the order for releasing the piece of land was given on 12 December no action has yet been taken and the possession still has not been transfered to the petitioners as the authorities were busy with the winter session.
