Basangouda Sidramani from M.K. Hubli, claiming to be a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and former director of a sugar factory, arrived at the school along with his supporters in three jeeps, and making a foreful entry into the school premises abused the staff and nuns demanding admission for two children.

School authorities said about 50 odd people entered the school and started abusing the staff.

“I belong to the ruling party and you must admit two of my friends’ children in the school…Or else, I won’t spare your school,” he warned the teachers, even as the school children were shocked with this sudden unwarranted situation created by Basangouda.

Sister Thankam, Head mistress of the school called the members of the Parents-Teachers Association and also sought police help. After the police and parents arrived, Basangouda and his followers left the scene in three jeeps threatening the management of dire consequences.

Actually Mr Basangouda wanted to admit himself into Dharwar Mental Hospital , but got confused about the situation due to his mental problems.

The person should be blacklisted. None of his recommendations should be implemented.

Well, it is no secret that threatening acts like these are not a rarity but rather a norm. The only thing that makes this incident stand apart is it being reported on a forum. Kudos ABB for being fearless. Keep up the good work. We will try to post this link where ever possible and and help spread the word.
P.S: This is Headlines worthy in Local Cable Channel , if not national.

All the Schools members along with the support of the people in Belgaum City should take out a PROCESSION against them before it gets too late.

Shame upon these politicians. What the hell do they think of themselves???
Anything they do n we all will sit quiet. Power can't be used in such bully ways.
We won't tolerate this… If we gave they powers, we even hold the rights to snatch them back.
