Public Works and District In-Charge Minister Satish Jarakiholi has instructed that a joint meeting be held between smart city officials and health department officials to address the confusion surrounding the commencement of work at the vaccine depot under the smart city project.
This directive was given during the Smart City implementation and progress review meeting held at the Belagavi Smart City office.
Minister Jarakiholi emphasized the need for the meeting to discuss the issues related to obtaining permission for the work at the vaccine depot and ensuring proper maintenance once the work is completed.
Officials from the health department have stated that they will not grant permission for the smart city project to commence at the vaccine depot. They clarified that only the development of the Heritage Park has been approved. Therefore, Minister Jarakiholi stressed the importance of clarifying this confusion.
Furthermore, Minister Satish Jarakiholi urged the authorities to provide written confirmation if permission has indeed been granted, and to provide an explanation regarding this matter.
