Today MLA Belagavi South Abhay Patil met the Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil and requested to survey the mosque at Bapat Galli.
During the meeting, Mr.Patil said we have said it is a temple and after the survey, it will be confirmed. After this, they have to return it and the temple has to be reinstated.
BJP MLA Abhay Patil on Sunday, May 29, claimed that the Shahi Masjid in Bapat Galli Belagavi was originally a Hindu temple and urged the district administration to conduct a survey in this regard.
“I was told that the mosque was built after destroying the temple. When I went and looked at it, I thought so too,” Patil said. “In the mosque, there’s a door that’s like the ones found in the sanctum sanctorum of temples. Small doors where one enters by bending are found in temples, not in mosques,” Patil added.

Exactly, please focus on other things that will benefit the whole city. Please do not create religious discrepancies in the city. We have enough temples and mosques.
