In the general meeting of the corporation the NO Hawkers zone in the city was finalized with a list of roads where Hawkers will not be allowed.
When the list was being read the elected representatives objected to the same. A sum of Rs. 10 crore have been allocated for the hawkers zone in the Smart city project.

These are just on paper and the implementation is a huge task as there is a huge lobby behind the street vendors. Also a notable point is that Ramdev Galli has been left out from the Non hawkers zone. Implementing this will not be easy and one will have to wait and watch if this ever will get implemented.
The shops built on Sai Mandir road are yet to alloted which are lying unused for years now.
