PYAAS Foundation in association with Vijay Karnataka , department of forest Belagavi, city corporation of Belagavi has planned a plantation drive “One day for Belagavi ” on the ninth of July 2017 .
The campaign will include plantation of over fifteen thousand trees in the following areas.
1) Over 40 corporation open spaces
2) All road medians in the city and
3) All public gardens
The drive is an excellent opportunity for people to contribute to the greenery of Belgaum. The open spaces have been taken up by over hundred organisations all over Belagavi.
The medians will be planted by PYAAS Foundation with the help of KLE.
In established parks you can take up one plant , adopt it and look after it, you can label it as your family tree. If you thought you could not plant trees because you live in apartments , think again , go adopt a tree in the corporation gardens.
The plants will be delivered to you by the forest department, fertilizer will be supplied by the city corporation.
The organization which plants the tree has to take care of the plant for Atleast two years. We request every person who loves Belagavi to come out and join us.

response has been pathethic i contacted all the 4 numbers mentioned for plantation at sadashivnagar belgaum but not a single person was interested in planting tress at sadashivnagar double road . why give numbers when u dont get good response from them ! why is no one interested in planting tress at sadashivnagar double road when 100 od trees were cut down for road expansion .
