ADGP Amarkumar Pandey, in Belagavi today, held discussions over the controversy over the installation of the statue of Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna at Peeranwadi.
The meeting with the Kannada – Marathi speaking leaders led by ADGP Amarakumara Pandey was a success.
As per the consensus, the newly installed statue of Rayanna will be there only and the circle would be named Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Circle at Peeranwadi.
A meeting was held at Peeranwadi in th presence of DC MG Hiremath where the leaders from Peeranwadi of both the Kannada and Marathi groups came up on a consensus.
