Heavy rains are pouring in the Western Ghats region. Amidst this, the people of forest border villages in Khanapur taluk are facing numerous problems. In this context, Council Member Nagaraj Yadav has taken steps to address these issues. He has successfully brought the problems of the local people to the government’s attention. Additionally, Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre has been informed and played a crucial role in organizing an important meeting. Today in Bangalore, a meeting was held under the leadership of Eshwar Khandre, attended by in-charge Minister Satish Jarkiholi, Council Member Nagaraj Yadav, Khanapur MLA Vitthal Halagekar, and forest department officials.
A few days ago, an ill woman from Amagaon village in Khanapur taluk was carried on a cot for 6 kilometers. Some visual media reported this issue with videos. After seeing the reports, Council Member Nagaraj Yadav successfully drew the minister’s attention to this problem. In the meeting, Yadav urged Minister Eshwar Khandre to take measures to provide relief and relocate the people of 12 forest border villages like Holda, Pastoli, and Chikale.

Minister Eshwar Khandre positively responded to Yadav’s concern and directed the officials to take necessary steps. Additionally, he requested the in-charge Minister Satish Jarkiholi to inform the revenue department officials to provide a separate place for relocation. Minister Satish Jarkiholi also positively responded to Yadav.
