Property tax rebate extended upto 31 July

Owners of all properties under the jurisdiction of Belagavi Municipal Corporation are hereby informed that the period of 5% REBATE to taxpayers who pay property tax in full for the current year (2024-25th) has been extended till Date: 31-07-2024.

“Online Payment Integration of property tax” software has been developed by the Corporation to provide taxpayers with the facility to pay their property tax online.

Property taxpayers who have already received computerized Form-1 with PID Number regarding their property tax can pay their property tax at Belagavi-1 Centers and also online through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

The rebate is visible in Column No. 35 of the PID report generated.

Payment can be done on Paytm or http://belagavicitycorp.org/ 

The Former Corporators had pressed on this issue and had met the Commissioner many a times and now this has yielded fruits.

How to pay Property tax online in Belagavi

Go to http://belagavicitycorp.org/ (Payment only by Credit/Debit/Internet Banking/UPI)

Click on Online Services

Enter the PID and click the search button to get Form 1 and then make a payment online.

If you don’t know your PID then use search by criteria i.e. your Ward No, Old Assessment No, New Assessment No, Owner name, OR Mobile No. then Click the Search button you will get the property details

Click on the View link to see your complete property tax details

Effective date: 5% REBATE is being given if full amount of property tax is paid by 31-07-2024, the public is hereby requested to take advantage of this.

  1. Let me know why property tax hike huge please clarify and update. If we ask they say subregister increased but I saw other districts tax they not hike even they get discount 20to 40rs please update daily soany facing but no one getting clarification from them please highlight

  2. What about who paid tax promptly are they getting 5% back or it will be reduced in next year’s tax please reply
