The RPD college premises at Tilakwadi has been selected by the District election officer as the place where the EVMs and the counting would take place for the upcoming Belagavi Parliamentary constituency Bye elections.
The various buildings on the campus were inspected by District Collector MG Hiremath.
Officials were instructed to install the infrastructure needed for strong rooms and counting.
The DC told the officials of the institute that the arrangements would be made so that the students of the college and the daily educational activities would not be affected.
Belagavi will vote on 17.04.2021 (Saturday) while the counting will happen on 02.05.2021 (Sunday).
