Star Air announced that it will discontinue its flights from Belagavi to Surat and Belagavi to Kishangarh (Ajmer) via Surat, starting June 14.

The airline has already stopped accepting bookings for these routes. These services, which began under the UDAN scheme in December 2020, have been operational for nearly four years.

Despite their popularity and occupancy rates exceeding 90%, the airline has not provided an official reason for the cessation.

However, sources suggest the termination is due to aircraft rotation needs. The discontinuation of these routes, which were the sole air services connecting Surat and Ajmer, is expected to disrupt travel for many passengers who relied on these convenient connections.

  1. Looks like StarAir is going bankrupt or is a very opportunistic business house. Just like their other products addiction and then make public suffer later.Request the UDAAN authorities to blacklist service providers .
