The work on Road Over Bridge THIRD Gate (Level crossing No.381) is not progressing and for the past 3 months, no work has been undertaken.
When the same was asked several times on Twitter now the DRM SWR has replied –
This work is being executed by the Construction Organization of SWR. Due to the impact of COVID during last few months, work got delayed. From September, Girder Launching work will commence and ROB will be completed in this Financial Year.
So the major work would commence after the rains from September and is likely to end by March 2022, as per the inference from the tweet.
The foundation stone for the construction of Road Over Bridge THIRD Gate (Level crossing No.381) was done on 6th Jan 2019 by Late Suresh Angadi.
The Targeted Completion was March 2020 but due to COVID deadline was extended.
Big trenches have been dug up which has no barricading or safety tapes. The work here is also on the lines of the Smart city work with no safety precautions in mind.

4 Lane Approach
The RoB is sanctioned at a cost of Rs.27.28 Crore on a 50:50 cost-sharing basis between ministry if Railways and Govt of Karnataka.
The 1 x 2 x 54 Bowstring Girder with 4 lane approach roads will give respite to the road users and help in building up the infrastructure for Belagavi city.
