A man was crushed to death when a truck ran over him and his cycle at around 6.30 pm on Khanapur road. He is aged around 40 years.
The accident occurred near the Dutt Mandir, where the truck ran over the man and his cycle.
Somappa Dundappa Kadlennavar (50, resident of Bhagyanagar) he was a Coolie.
Traffic has been diverted at this moment after the accident.
Signals have to be raised where there r 4 ways….and specially heavy loaded trucks should not be allowed in the city…very sad…
No speed breakers on the road and un authorised construction not being removed is the main cause of accidents. Commuters drive from wrong side not a single traffic police on the road all lead to this tragedy.
