Two GIT students selected for International youth Exchange Programs

Two Students, NCC Cadet Mr. Niranjan Ramankatti and NSS volunteer Mr. Ajay Chandrapattan of KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT), Belagavi have been selected for International Youth Exchange Programme by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India.

As part of the Youth Exchange Programme between India and Russia, 25 NCC cadets Pan India Visiting Russia, from August 18- September 1, 2018. In the selected 25 NCC Cadet Pan India, B E Computer Science & Engineering student of KLS Gogte Institute of Technology Cdt. Niranjan Ramanakatti is selected and he will be visiting Russia under International Youth Exchange Program (IYEP) between India and Russia.

Also NSS volunteer and a final year B E Mechanical Engineering student of KLS Gogte Institute of Technology Mr. Ajay Chandrapattan already in the China with 100 member youth delegation visiting China under International Youth Exchange Program (YEP) between India and China. The program was sponsored by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Mr. Ajay is a part of 1a 00-member delegation of Group to China, which was selected from all across India. Under this program ,Mr. Ajay will visit the top cities of China including Beijing, Chengdu, Guilin, Guangzhou.

During their stay in the respective countries, they get the opportunity to interact with youth leaders & also visiting prominent places of historic, educational and cultural significance. KLSGIT students also have the chances of meeting dignitaries/higher officials of the respective governments, and to reach out to next generation socialistic/scientific/technical advancement of two countries. Students of both the countries will exchange their ideas on culture, tradition, education system and related things. Also ,this will help in International learning and knowledge propels students towards acceptance and understanding of an array of different cultural and community perspectives. Language acquisition is achieved through practical immersion. Awareness and adoption of alternative, multi-faceted approaches to learning. Analytical and problem solving skills. Enhances the interest in global issues as well as a broader general knowledge.
