South Western Railway has decided to run unreserved special (07357/07358) trains between Dharwad and Belagavi, these trains will run on a daily basis with effect from March 6, 2023 to September 6, 2023 from both sides. The details of timings and stoppages are as follows:
The train (07357) will depart from Dharwad at 8:15 a.m. and reach Belagavi at 10:45 a.m., and the train (07358) will depart from Belagavi at 7:30 p.m. and arrive at Dharwad at 9:55 p.m. on the same day.
The train (07357) will halt at Alnavar (08:54/08:55 a.m.), Londa (09:30/09:32 a.m.) and Khanapur (09:59/10:00 a.m.) stations.
In the return direction, Train No. 07358 will stop at Khanapur (07:54/07:55 p.m.), Londa (08:20/08:22 p.m.), and Alnavar (08:58/09:00 p.m.) stations.
The above-mentioned special trains will have 22 coaches, including one first cum second-tier AC coach, one AC two-tier coach, one AC three-tier coach, eleven sleeper class coaches, five general second-class coaches, and two second-class luggage cum brake vans. (AC coaches in locked condition.)
Why waste a carriage on a unnecessary route, plus it’s not a passenger either where people from smaller stations can utilize it. Who takes such decision to run AC compartments on a 3 stop short journey. Instead focus on BGM-SBC , seems it’s running late daily and is losing its sheen post MR Angadi…..
SWR can run just GSR bogies to belgaum as a passenger and timings to belgaumr shiukd be changed in evening train from 6 00 pm to 9 pm as same train is converting as dwr mys express. Which supposed to run from at 10 10 pm never started on time. Its worst maintenance by SWR hubli division
