This could be the beginning of the water woes for the citizens of Belgaum. The Rakaskop reservoir currently has 2668 feet of water which will suffice until May.
The water level infact is less than what it was the previous year. This may not cause an immediate impact on water supply but this could definitely have an impact in the month of may. The water level in Hidkal is also decreased with respect to the previous year.
