The heat of elections has now subsided but the politics aren’t as the Jarkiholi tussle continues. Ramesh Jarkiholi Former Minister and Congress MLA  has distanced himself from the Congress for months now but kept everyone guessing on his next move.

Congress leaders Satish Jarkiholi and Shamnur Shivashankrappa warned the party on Tuesday that Ramesh could become an obstacle to the government, if not stopped.

Soon after Ramesh Jarkiholi called his brother Satish Jarkiholi mad, accusing him of destroying him (Ramesh) on Tuesday, all three Jarkiholi brothers resorted to a war of words.

ramesh-jarkhiholiRamesh, who has been sulking after he was dropped from the cabinet a few months ago, told reporters on Tuesday that he has made up his mind to quit. Ramesh said soon. “I am in Congress only technically. I will announce the date of my resignation soon.”

Ramesh Jarkiholi has been upset about the alleged interference in Belagavi Congress affairs by Minister D.K. Shivakumar.

Another brother, Balachandra Jarkiholi, who is a BJP MLA from Arabhavi, said that in “family matters” they were united, but when it came to politics, each brother had his own ideas.
