The women of Belagavi under the banner of Samasta Stree Shakti Sangathana will take out a silent protest march on March 8 to condemn the Gang rape which happened near Kakti.
The main demands listed by the women are
- No more atrocities against women
- Govt must look at the issue of women safety on priority
- Streets of Belagavi must be made safe for Women
The protest rally which will be a silent march would begin from Dharmveer Sambhaji Chowk and proceed to College road, Samadevi Galli, Ramdev Galli, Maruti Galli, Ganpat Galli, Kaktives and will end by giving a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner.
Even the men can take part in this silent protest rally.
