The work on the building boundary wall across the 370 acres of acquired land for the expansion of the Belgaum – Sambra airport is expected to begin in the next week.
The tender for the same has been alloted to SG construction and it is worth Rs.8 crores. The total length of the wall is about 8 kms and the contractor has given a time bond in which he has to finish the said work.
After the boundary wall work is completed other works of actual expansion would be undertaken.
Its good news for all belgaumties expansion of airport . Becuase of belgaum industrial hub n educational center. So it will next international airport .
