Rohan Kokane to perform Backward Limbo Skating in Hong Kong

Belgaum’s wonder skater Rohan Ajit Konkane who has Guinness record for farthest distance limbo skating under cars will perfom ‘Backward Limbo Skating’ & ‘Spin on Limbo’ at the Wonderful Worlds of Whampoa at Hong Kong on July 28 and 29, 2012.

The event is themed as “Beyond the Body Limit” and will align with the London Olympics games taking place during the same time. The event aims to inspire audiences by demonstrating masterful performance from sports champion and world record holders.

Also Rohan will be performing along side Klaus Köste, a German Gynast who won the gold in 1972 Munich Olympics. Even at the age of 70 Koste will perform at the event. Rohan has been trained by Suryakant Hindalgekar, coach of Belgaum Roller Skating Academy who has been training from the past 17 years in the Skating filed and produced Guinness Record Holders and many International and National Skaters of repute.
Rohan last year performed in Ludiesburg, Germany for a TV show. Rohan was also selected the Person of the year by AllAboutBelgaum.com.

Rohan who hails from a Bhoi Galli and his whose father runs small electrical shop take this to be the good deed of the last birth that they have got Rohan as their child.

It has never been easy for the Ajit, his father to gather the funds for his training or going overseas. People from Belgaum have wholeheartedly supported Rohan and his family.

Rohan will be accompanied by his coach, Suryakant Hindalgekar, and his father, Ajit Kokane.
