Belgaum Roller Skating Academy’s Skater Miss Karuna Rajan Waghela has been honored with Bal Pratibha Award 2017(State Award Women & Child Welfare Department Govt. Of Karnataka ). She has been specially invited for doing extraordinary work in the field of Skating. In the last four years she has worked hard to earn India Book Record, Asia Book Record, Record holder Republic on her name. She has participated in Various Skating Competitions, Skating Rally. The function has been conducted on 14th Nov. 2017 on the occasion of Children’s Day at Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Cubbon Park, Bengaluru.
In a grand function of Bal Pratibha Award 2017 she has been honored at the auspicious hands of Honorable Minister for Women and Child Welfare Department Smt Umashree, State Bal Bhavan Society Chairman Dr. Anjalitai Nimbalkar and Uma Mahadevan.
She has also received Bal Pratibha Award, District Sports Award and many more accolades earlier.
Miss Karuna is very happy with this honor. Her entire family was present to witness the Bal Pratibha Award 2017 ceremony.
Karuna studying in 4th Std D.P.School, Belgaum and skating practicing in KLE Society’s Skating Rink under the watchful guidance of Skating Coach Suryakant Hindalgekar. She is encouraged and supported by Belgaum Roller Skating Academy President Umesh Kalghatagi
