St.Paul’s School emerge ‘Champions’ in Inter School Football

stpaulsSt.Paul’s School emerged winners in the ‘Nandini Milk’ trophy Inter School Football tournament for Under-14 Boys held at Phoenix School, ground Nehru Nagar. The tournament was organized by Belgaum District Co-Operative Milk Association. Total of 16 School teams had participated in this knockout event.

St Paul’s school defeated St Xavier’s School by a margin of 2-1 goals in a very hard fought final match. Aman Latif and Simon Iregar scored one goal each for St Paul’s and Nikhil Hadgal scored the lone goal for St Xaviers.

Suraj Kotbagi of St xaviers was declared Best Goal Keeper, sourabh Killekar of Marathi Vidyaniketan was Best Defender, Affan Savnoor of St Marys was adjudged Best Half, Atik Chinchnikar of Phoenix Public School was Best forward and Kasif Khan was awarded the Best Player award.
