In the meeting of the citizens of Ramdev Galli was held at Sri Ram Mandir to consider the implications of the implementation of Master plan in Ramdev Galli when widened to 45 feet. Large number of citizens of Ramdev Galli and all have them have unanimously resolved to Oppose the said master plan.
In the meeting it was brought to notice that in 1992 the master plan was stopped after it was brought to the notice of the administration that Ramdev Galli is a Link road, and link road is not widened.
The corporation in past has also resolved that no widening will be done of link roads. The traffic on the street can be systematically regulated with strict enforcement of traffic norms and Ramdev Galli is not included in the CDP plan. Any implementation of the master plan would be injustice. All the citizens agreed to submit petition on the same grounds to the authorities.
Advocate Ashok Potdar, Smt.Devyani Deshpande, Ranganath Potdar, Katti, Porwal and others shared their views on the same occasion.
