The Shops / residential building/ mutton shop and the health Department sub branch and shops beside which have completed the Lease period at Nath Pai circle, Shahpur will be demolished and as an alternate for those who will lose their shops and residential buildings in road Widening from Shahpura Nath Pai circle to Shahpur police station a mew G+1 building will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 40 lakhs.
City Corporation of Belagavi has decided to take up the development of Various Buildings within the Corporation limits. Hence the existing vacant land under transmission line is been taken for the development along with the Mutton shop which will be demolished as it is in a poor condition.
The project is being executed under the NAGAROTHANA PROGRAMME (PHASE-3).
This is for the first time that the Corporation has commenced to build something to be given as compensation for the land property acquired in Road widening even before they are acquired or demolished.
Then why is that the same principle or rule was not applied to others like in Ramling Khind Galli; where a few people lost 100% of their house and were forced to stay in the open.
