TRINITY College and Incredible Belgaum NGO organised a one of its kind Summer Camp for kids living in the slum areas. “We see so many summer camps organised for kids during the summer vacation for kids but when the Incredible Belgaum NGO and TRINITY College volunteers visited the slums on Ugadi to distribute sweets they noticed that many children had either dropped out of school or never went to school due to their financial situation. That is when the idea of having a summer camp with an objective of creating an interest for learning in these kids was initiated” said Prof. Ashutosh G. David, Chairman GDDF- TRINITY College.
