The Forest officials have a deadline upto 5 pm on November 22 to trap the recently released tiger which the villagers believe is a man eater which was captured in Chikkamagaluru. Villagers say they will agitate fiercely if the tiger is not trapped.

Villagers are even ready to venture into the forests if the officials are not able to trap the tiger in the deadline.

People normally commute on foot in the nearby villages as there is hardly any other connectivity and even small children travel long distances to attend school. With the fear of the tiger in the vicinity the villagers are scared that it would attack.
