Shri Suresh Angadi, as Hon’ble MoSR, was instrumental in introducing many trains in
South Western Railways in last 16 months.
This period will forever be remembered by people of the region served by SWR.
Shri Angadi , in his brief stint as Minister of State of Railways left an indelible mark in terms of implementation of projects.
The KSR Bengaluru – Belagavi express train was a major new train announced for Belagavi which was a pending demand since decades. It was made operational only because of the minister.
Now there are voices heard that the said train be named after him as a mark of tribute as ‘Suresh Angadi Express’.
Agree. Prior to his stint as a Minister his contributions left much to be desired.
But he did wonderful work as a railway minister and in his honor naming the train as “Shri Suresh Angadi Express” is worth it. The train has been a blessing for travelers from Belgaum.
A huge loss to Belagavi. Lost a PATRON in him. God bless him with peace. My heart felt condolences to the bereaved family!
