Bit too: Bapu.
Bapu: Yes Bittoo.
Bittoo: Belagavi city and rest of the country witnessed the mixed response to the nation wide Bandh call given by the Opposition Congress, Left, Trade Unions and several other political parties to protest against sky-rocketing prices of petroleum fuel, LPG and miserably weakening of Indian rupee today Bapu?
Bapu: Yes, the response is better in non-BJP ruled States and partial in the BJP ruled States Bittoo.
Bittoo: It could have been total if the Opposition parties had focussed its attention on just one issue Bapu.
Bapu: Oh! I see, what’s it Bittoo?
Bittoo: Don’t you think the bandh could have been total if the protest was against bad to worst wireless/internet service providers, particularly the BSNL’s mobile and internet services Bapu? Entire India would have participated – rising above all political, religious and caste factors in the protest and making the day a historical one Bapu?
Bapu: I don’t know Bittoo.
This is a citizen-centric new column, wherein the author(Bitto) is an ordinary, politically unaffiliated common man of the city who in his/her inimitable approach takes up various issues with the Bapu’s soul! Apparently, the interaction between them portrays ironies of sorts encountered by the common man and others in the city in a lighter vein. The author’s name will not be disclosed to the readers as he/she represents the common man of the society. This column aims at creating awareness and sensitising cross sections of our city on various issues of public concern only but in a lighter vein without holding any contempt against any institution or individual.
