With the second Global investors meet concluding today in Bangalore, we just found out the list of projects for which MOU’s were signed in the first GIM 2010. We will publish the entire list of the current GIM as and when we get details.
We are unclear as to how many have got forward from the MOU stage.
With regards to the Zuari fertilizers and chemicals plant: which is setting up 11.55 MTPA urea unit by investing Rs 4,565 crore in Belgaum, land acquisition has led to legal disputes. Farmers have taken stay from the Dharwad High Court Circuit Bench against acquisition of 45 acres which lie within the proposed 1,078-acre site.
