Have you ever wondered the role a teacher plays in an individual’s life; so important and so lasting.
Today most of the Whatsapp groups are of schools and colleges; stories of teachers and friendships.
Devikant Birje has launched a research project to discover the metamorphosis of how education has changed over the past 30 years; the stories lie hidden in memories of people.
He has titled the project as “Capture the Essence of the Teachers/Professors role in Students Life” as we travel through various situations of life at school, college and beyond.
So far all the Principals have responded positively and other segments of society are excited to know the stories.
Sample exercises have been conducted to see how students respond to a paper/pen-based model/ online model and Whatsapp model.
Gogte College of Commerce and Maratha Mandal Engineering have started with the project. Lined up are nearly 50 plus education Institutions.
Due to the Positive response, the project is seeking participation from Local Media and other Social Groups to reach out.
The findings; are going to be a rainbow of attitudes which the academia and the society are excited to know and can be used to modify teaching/training interventions in schools and colleges.
