The long awaited Ring road project which could never take off due to various reasons is now getting shape after the Translite consultants have submitted the feasibility report to BUDA recently.

The report says that a sum of Rs.5 crore per Kilometer would be required to build the 42 kms of Ring road.

This sums to about Rs.210 crore for the construction of the ring road and does not include compensation and other allied works.

Last year speaker of the assembly had asked BUDA to submit a report for the proposal of the ring road. Now with the session in house in Belagavi from Monday it would be good if the same is approved by the urban development ministry.

  1. I think this is third time BUDA called for survey. As we know well that this time also nothing will be happen. They are doing just for name sake that’s it.
