KSCA Cricket stadium Belagavi over the years

The work on the KSCA Cricket stadium was started in 2007 by Karnataka Cricket Association and is spread over 17 acres in Auto Nagar, Kanbargi. The outfield consists of Bermuda grass; the lush green outfield, will have eight-turf wickets at the centre apart from six-practicing wicket including a concrete wicket.

But it was halted for a couple of years. However, the work gained momentum when former cricketers Anil Kumble and Javagal Srinath took the centre stage at KSCA.

The ground is being developed with an intention to promote cricket at moffussil centres by way of conducting Ranji and other important state matches.

The first Ranji trophy match will be played today on 29-11-2016.
