A fundraiser play starring Sharman Joshi, “Raju Raja Ram Aur Main” is being staged to help Belgaum Royals Round Table 205 build 3 classroom block at Madhyamik Vidyalaya High School, Belvatti Village. The Belvatti School Project is worth 25 Lakhs which consists of 3 Classrooms and Toilet blocks for girls.
The NGO has already constructed 6 classrooms at Shri Shivaji Highschool Kadoli and Rural Residential High School, New Vantmuri earlier.
Play will be staged at the VTU auditorium, VTU Campus on 26th January 2018 at 6 PM.
Directed by Kedar Shinde, Raju, Raja Ram Aur Main has actor Sharman Joshi playing four roles in the play. This is a remake of the Marathi hit play Sahi re Sahi. With Sharman at the helm, the production promises to be a laugh riot. “It is a two-and-half-hour play and Sharman’s energy is all over the stage,” he states and adds, earlier performances of the play have run houseful. Actors Shivani Karadkar, Rajesh Singh, Vivek Desai, Rajesh Bhosale, Namaya Saxena also act in the play.
Industrialist Madan Sukhnandani catches his second wife red-handed with her lover. The lover is none other than Sukhnandani’s PA! With tempers running high, the husband falls prey to the cheating wife and gets murdered. While the corpse is hidden, hilarity ensues as an imposter is brought in to get the property willed to the wife.
