The Election Commission announced the schedule for the 17th Lok Sabha elections 2019 and Belagavi will vote on 23 April 2019.
The term of the present Lok Sabha ends on June 3. As soon as election schedule 2019 were announced, the model code of conduct has come into force. Among other things, the Model Code of Conduct bars the government from announcing policy decisions.
Voting in Karnataka on April 18 (phase 2) and April 23 (phase 3)
