Ramesh Jarkhiholi minister of water resources and district in charge minister speaking on Independence day said Belagavi will get a new 100 acre sports complex.
The district will soon get a sports complex spread over 10 acres just like Hubballi.
The lease of the district stadium Belagavi will be over next year, therefore a new sports complex will be developed.
Whenever this happens after COVID, it should be named after Late Phadeppa D. Chaugule, the first Indian Olympian!
Some day I should be able to access it as easily as anyone from the higher class can. And the land should not acquired from farmers.
