The Belagavi smart city Limited has floated tenders to make 11 roads as Smart, already 7 roads are been made as smart but none have completed as yet.
In two separate tenders of 4 roads and 7 roads respectively have been floated by the BSCL.

By the information in the article regarding the road we understand that the works done on the existing roads.
Laying of white topping on the existing asphalt road will rise the road level by white topping thickness. Implementing agency must look into this.
What about the provision for UGD. Water lines.
Smart city company must put some basic information on display for common man to know the specification of the road ( Thickness of concreter etc)
Mark these roads on Google maps with postfix – “smart roads” So that people know how smart they are.
My Humble request, it would be good if ‘Smart Road’ is extended from SPM road to Nath Pai Circle (via Khade Bazar Shahapur) as it’s a connectivity between two ends of the City.
Everywhere road widening but corporation and cantonment forget to main road in the belgaum SANCHAYNI CIRCLE TO GOGTE CIRCLE, camp road widened first. all the way from globe to Petrol pump camp is very small road on both sides of the divider. Its a traffic hazard. they are making road in street area but they forget main road in the belgaum where traffic are more, I think because of political pressure. ramlingkhind galli, ramdev gali, very small small area where they are made master plan but y they are forget this road????? actual the road is required 120 feet because of current traffic in this road. our request is to please make the road 120 feet from SANCHAYNI CIRCLE TO GOGTE CIRCLE, camp.
Have they consulted any Urban Designer for the job? Have they made the Streetscaping report public? Don’t please let any agency do an eyewash to public. Please check and ask for the appointment of Urban Designer for relevant jobs.
