Belagavi– Raichur four lane highway of 325km to be constructed at the cost of Rs. 12500 crores in 6 Phases under the Hyderabad-Panaji under Economic corridor.
The land acquisition process has been commenced as of now.
Ther 324-km National Highway on the route was earlier submitted to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and it has now been sanctioned fulfilling the long-pending demand of the people of the region.
the four-lane National Highway between Raichur and Belagavi will further improve road transport in the region and it has been sanctioned as part of the Economic Corridor project of the Union government.
In Belagavi District the highway will pass from Bastwad, Tarihal, Chandanhosur, Khamkarhatti, Shaganmatti
The proposed road which starts from Raichur is the same Belagavi-Bagalkot SH but from Yargatti it will divert via Murgod, Inchal, Lakkundi, Bailhongal, Jakkanaikanakoppa.
