BELGAUM: The election results may have brought joy and jubilation to the to the NDA camp which is all set to form the government after achieving a simple majority, unseating the Congress.
But they also brought sorrow to many a candidate whose campaign efforts, energy and, importantly, money were bound to go in vain.
In Belgaum as many as 13 will have to face the ignominy of loosing their deposits as they have received polling less than 1/6th of the total votes in their constituency.
