Prabhakar K and his son Samarth had come from Belagavi on Tuesday night by a government bus to enroll their son in a private school here in Kaup (Udupi dist).
On September 14 morning, a 16-year-old minor boy was driving the goods lorry which hit the father and son duo in Uchilla resulting in the death of both of them.
Prabhakar and his son Samarth when they were standing on the side of the NH-66 when the accident occurred.
The man died on the spot, while his son, who was critically injured, died at a hospital on Thursday.
Shekar, driver of the lorry revealed that a 16-year-old boy working as a cleaner in the lorry was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. The boy had a fantasy to drive a lorry and had done so on earlier occasions.
how come the RTO has issued the licence to this boy that also 16yrs and what was the police doing while he was driving the truck? we are afraid to give a scooter to this age.. his parents and the owner of that goods agency should be sent behind bars and teach them a strict lesson

I don’t know how the government are allowing so small boy to ride so much bulky 14tire truck and keeps people life in danger. now people should wake up and has to remove new law for this type of incident and if he is a minor his parents should send him behind bars or a 20 lakhs penalty . has to take legal action by the government.
