The Dhavan family who were staying here in a hotel consumed poison and committed suicide last night. The deceased are Mahantesh Dhavan (45), his wife Shobha Dhavan (39) and his son Amog Dhavan (12) from Unkal, Hubli.
Financial problems could be the cause of the suicide police suspected. The door of the room was opened by the police on Tuesday night.
