In a horrifying accident involving a car and KSRTC bus, 4 persons from Sahyadri Nagar Belagavi were killed on the spot after the head-on collision near the Chachadi cross Savadatti Taluka.
The deceased are identified as
1. Smt Laxmi D/o Hanamantrao Nalawade, w/oVasudev Pawar, WPSI, Women PS, Belagavi City,
2. Sri Prasad s/o Vasudev Pawar
3. Smt Ankita w/o Prasad Pawar
4. Deepa w/o Anil Shahapurkar
The Vasco Ilkal NWKRTC bus was headed towards Ilkal while the car was headed towards Belagavi from Yargatti.
SP Laxman Nimbargi visited the spot.
