To encourage house-owners to pay their property tax early, the Belagavi city corporation has come out with an ‘early bird’ scheme. Citizens, who pay property tax for 2018-19 without any previous year arrears before April 30 of this year also will be given a rebate of 5 percent.
People who pay their tax before this month-end, corporation will provide 5 percent rebate on the current demand. After April 30, the scheme will lapse and people cannot avail the tax concession.
The tax rebate will not be applicable to those citizens who no have pending arrears of previous years dues.
City Corporation Commissioner Ibrahim Maigur has issued a press note in which it is stated that online payment Integration of property tax software has been upgraded and citizens can pay their property tax from April 1 online as well on http://belagavicitycorp.org/ or also by Paytm.
How to pay Property tax online in Belagavi
Go to http://belagavicitycorp.org/
Click on Online Services
Enter the PID and click the search button to get Form 1 and then make payment online.
If you don’t know your PID then use search by criteria i.e. your Ward No, Old Assessment No, New Assessment No, Owner name OR Mobile No. then Click Search button you will get the property details
Click on View link to see your complete property tax details
Please Download the Challan before Proceeding for Payment, as once payment is made Challan is not possible to be viewed again.
Click on Get Form-2 OR View Tax & Pay in next page to proceed with online payment
Please download OR print acknowledgment on successful property tax online payment
Paytm also you need the PID number.

Approach the City Corporation division offices and get the Challan
Last year due to assembly elections many did not get the challan and they had to twice or thrice to get the challan and then pay the same at Belagavi one centers.
We just hope this time, the online payment system is updated from April 1, and all will be able to pay it online.
The corporation is always in a dearth of funds but never makes an effort to collect more when citizens are coming forward voluntarily to pay the tax. Now if you approach the office, Sir Election duty hai, 2-3 baad aao..
Payment of house tax of corporation online is hoax..one doesn’t get challan on providing PID number..moreover there is option to sign up or register our user name with password but still they ask to log in..How possible without signing up
There is no provision to register username with password but still they ask us to log in..how it’s possible without registering first..
Corporation should provide provision for registering our names by using username and password..

u dont need a log in ID PID, View tax – then pay online u will only need the Banking details with you
