A group of four burglars targeted five shops in the centrally located Pangul Galli and Shani Mandir area of Belagavi during a late-night robbery.
Three shops in Pangul Galli and two shops behind Shani Mandir fell victim to these criminals. The affected establishments include Newlife Medicals, Sanskar Sarees, Siddeshwar Traders in Pangul Galli, as well as Ashok Cloth Stores and another shop at Padmavati Chambers behind Shani Mandir.
The entire incident was captured on the CCTV cameras installed in these shops.
The burglars managed to steal a substantial amount of cash, valuable sarees, and other materials worth several lakhs.
These brazen burglaries have caused significant disruption in the local market, leaving the business owners and residents in a state of shock. In response, the police swiftly arrived at the crime scenes and have initiated a thorough investigation to bring the culprits to justice.
