More than 5,500 police personnel have been deployed from various districts of the state to ensure law and order during the session of Belagavi which commences on Monday.
To accommodate the influx of personnel, a township has been constructed near Suvarna Vidhana Soudha, complete with seven huge tents that can house 400-500 staff each.
Accommodations have been provided for 1,500 staff and 300 officials, with 28 separate counters established for meals. Every staff member is provided with a cot, bed, hot water for bathing, and mobile charging facilities.
Separate arrangements have been made for the women staff, with Bhantar Bhavan, Mukti Matha Samudaya Bhavan, and the Air Force Training Center providing accommodations. The KSRP Macche unit has also been set up to accommodate female personnel.
To ensure security near Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi city, six SPs, 11 ASPs, 40 DySPs, 106 CPIs, 275 PSIs, and 234 women personnel have been deployed.
