Grama One initiative effectively and provide all government services under one roof in rural areas.
Grama One centers provide 800 services from 84 government departments at the village level thereby helping people avoid visits to urban areas.
People had to visit respective taluk headquarters to avail themselves of these services and also obtain documents while waiting for long periods.
Deputy Commissioner MG Hiremath, instructed the operators of the Gram One centers to provide adequate services to the people.
He was speaking after inspecting a “Gram One” service center in Ganesapura, adjacent to Hindalga village panchayat, on Friday (Feb 4).
The government hopes to bring government services to the doorstep of the people by providing the services of key departments, including Revenue and Health. Therefore, one should provide better service in Gram One centers without compromising on this wish.
778 Village One centers in the district:
A total of 778 Gram One centers have already been opened in the Belagavi district. These centers have over 800 services from 84 departments.
RTC, Revenue Certificate, Caste Certificate of the Revenue Department; Department of Health Ayushmann India-Health Karnataka Card; Most services, including labor department labor cards, can be obtained at the Gram One center, said DC Hiremath.
The Gram One project has been implemented by the Chief Ministers with the aim of providing government services to the people’s homes.
