A new Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) established by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) was inaugurated in Belagavi. The centre, located in Bhagyanagar, Angol, was formally inaugurated by Belagavi Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Mohammad Roshan in the presence of UIDAI Deputy Director Anand V.
The newly opened Aadhaar Seva Kendra aims to provide citizens with a dedicated facility for Aadhaar enrolment, updates, biometric authentication, and other Aadhaar-related services under one roof.

Services Available at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra
During the inauguration, UIDAI Deputy Director Siri Anand V. explained the range of services available at the centre, including:
- New Aadhaar enrolment
- Aadhaar demographic updates
- Mobile number and email updates
- Biometric updates
- Aadhaar correction services
- Aadhaar-related assistance and support
UIDAI Manager Mohammad Musab demonstrated the process of booking Aadhaar appointments online and showcased the features of the latest Aadhaar mobile application.
Focus on Citizen-Friendly Services
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan appreciated UIDAI’s efforts in providing citizen-centric services and emphasized the importance of prompt grievance redressal and efficient service delivery. He urged officials to ensure that public complaints are resolved quickly and that visitors receive quality assistance at the centre.
He also highlighted the role of the media in creating awareness among citizens about the facilities and services available at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
As part of the programme, officials conducted a live Aadhaar biometric update of the Deputy Commissioner and demonstrated the Aadhaar enrolment and update process for attendees.
The Aadhaar Seva Kendra is expected to benefit residents of Belagavi city and surrounding areas by providing convenient access to Aadhaar registration and update services at a dedicated UIDAI facility.
