ACB raids Deputy chief Electrical inspector in Belagavi

Today ACB has conducted raids and search has started in 28 places against 9 officers in 11 districts related to disproportionate of assets by team of ACB officers and staff under the supervision of Range SPs.

One officer is from Belagavi.

Hanamantha shivappa Chikkannanavara Deputy chief Electrical inspector, Belagavi circle. Places of search – flat at channamma nagar, Angol, Belagavi, office at Belagavi, native place in Golambhavi village, Jamakhandi taluk and another flat in Shanthinatha Homes apartment, Kittur Rani Chennamma nagar, Belagavi.

By a team of officers and staff headed by SP. Northern range, Nemagowda KSPS.

This is one of the biggest raids conducted by Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths in Karnataka, searches were carried out at 28 locations related to 9 officials, including a BMTF Inspector in Bengaluru and BBMP Junior Engineer K Subramanyam who is working as Assistant Director, Town Planning in the Yelahanka Zone.

The raids have been underway since Tuesday morning. As per initial information by the sleuths, the searches, on suspicion of disproportionate assets, are being conducted at 28 places against 9 officers in 11 districts. The search team comprises 52 officers and 174 staff of the ACB under the supervision of range SPs.
