Air Pegasus plans to fly to at least 23 destinations in south India by the end of this year. The company promoted by ground handling services provider Decor Aviation has so far invested about Rs 100 crore in the airline.
In the coming months, they would scale our operations to connect cities including Belgaum, Rajahmundry and Pondicherry. The company has leased two aircraft – ATR 72 500s – with a seating capacity of 66. It has also signed lease agreements for three more aircrafts from Vietnam Airlines, which should be available by the end of the year.
Currently Spicejet flies from Belagavi to Bengaluru & Mumbai daily.
