Angadi clarifies that Star Air Flight is not under UDAN

Photo of author

AAB had posted, quoting the Deccan Herald story, where Mr. Suresh Angadi had quoted that Star Air Flight to BBengaluruis under UDAN 3.0.
But in reality, this is a NON-RCS UDAN flight service. So claiming it to be starting under UDAN is wrong. And your good office had tweeted that Alliance Air and SpiceJet would also commence today which were allocated under UDAN 3.0 heard nothing about it.

There was a lot of hue and cry after the post on social media and also out of it and today morning Angadi’s twitter handle made a tweet making the clarification.

I would like to make it clear for the misinterpretation made for #UDAN routes that Star Air is under UDAN and will come up with multiple routes.

The current Star Air Flight to Bengluru which flies for 6 days a week except for Tuesday is a regular flight and not under UDAN and hence it’s prices are also not capped.

star air ixgBut #Belagavi to #Bangalore is a non RCS route.
